You have the right under UK GDPR (Article 17) to request erasure of the personal data held about you. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

How to request deletion
If you hold an operator login, delete it yourself from Settings → Account & data in the web app at kairoengine.com. You do not need to email anyone first. Deleting removes the sign-in straight away; the sections below explain what happens to the records behind it.
Email privacy@kairoengine.com from the address associated with your account, or contact the chauffeur operator you booked with directly. Include your full name and the email or phone number used for bookings so we can locate your record. We action verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your contact details, addresses, travel preferences, saved routes and any free-text notes are erased.
- Your message history is permanently deleted.
What we must retain (and why)
UK law (Companies Act 2006 / HMRC) requires businesses to keep financial records, meaning invoices and the booking amounts they derive from, for six years. Where this applies, the financial record is kept but de-identified: your name and contact details are removed and replaced with a redaction marker, leaving only the amounts and dates needed for tax and audit. It can no longer be linked back to you.
Driver & operator accounts
If you hold a driver or operator login, deletion also removes your profile and login. Compliance documents (licensing, DBS, insurance) retained for regulatory reasons are kept only as long as the law requires, then erased.
