Analytics. Numbers that say how sure they are.

Kairo shows revenue, margin, customers and debtors for any range you pick. Where the cost evidence is missing, it says estimate rather than inventing a margin.

How the numbers are built.

Each rule below is read from the analytics code. The estimate rates are platform defaults, and the rest are not settings.

  1. Pick a range, compare a range

Last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, this quarter, year to date or any custom window, with a comparison window alongside. Buckets follow your own time zone, so a job completed at half past midnight lands in the day you saw it.

  2. Margin needs a recorded cost

A job's margin is shown only when at least one real cost is recorded: driver, partner, fuel, vehicle or extras. With no cost, Kairo does not show 100% margin. Alternatives such as a partner cost and a driver cost are never added together.

  3. Estimates are labelled

When no costs exist, analytics estimates them from a standard run rate and says so: driver time at 18 pounds an hour, fuel at 25p a mile, wear at 12p a mile, a 5 pound wash and 1 pound of other costs per job.

  4. Profit is only called complete when the evidence is

A profit or margin figure is marked complete only when revenue and cost coverage are both complete for the same service period. Otherwise it is shown as a balance with its confidence marked incomplete.

  5. Monthly margin uses only costed jobs

In the monthly profit and loss, the cost of the jobs that carry a real cost is set against the revenue of those same jobs, never against the whole month. Confirmed no-shows sit in their own bucket so they do not move the per-job averages.

  6. Invoice coverage is exact

Ninety-nine invoiced jobs out of a hundred is reported as partial coverage with one missing, not rounded up to complete.

  7. Trends need five jobs

Trend lines and forecasts appear once the account has at least 5 completed jobs.

  8. Customers are ranked on recorded fares

The customer table ranks accounts and clients by completed, priced jobs. It reports the top customer's share of fares and the share from customers with more than one job. Zero-value jobs are excluded and counted.

  9. Currencies are never summed

A view with no exchange rates keeps only the rows in your reporting currency and states how many rows in other currencies it left out.

  10. Debtors show days overdue

The aged debtors view lists every open invoice with its balance and days overdue, and separately lists completed work that has not been invoiced.

  11. Reports arrive on a schedule

A daily digest at 08:00 in your time zone, a weekly report on Monday mornings and a monthly report on the first of the month.

The same rules feed the AI.

The confidence gate that labels a card complete or incomplete is the one the AI assistant reads, so a question about margin gets the same caveat as the chart.

Revenue and cost figures are read from the jobs and invoices in your tenant directly, not from cached summaries.

  • One confidence gate for cards, exports and the assistant
  • Figures read live from jobs and invoices
  • Estimates always labelled as estimates

Our comparison research recorded what each system is sold as. It did not compare reporting depth, so this page makes no claim about their analytics.

Each line below is taken from the comparison page it links to, where the vendor's own pages are listed as sources. Those pages also say what each system does well.

Autocab calls itself market-leading booking and dispatch software for local private hire and taxi operators, established in 1989, headquartered in Manchester with 140+ staff, and says it operates in 33 countries. It's sold as a suite: booking and dispatch, a driver app, a white-label passenger app, automated phone answering with a voice-recognition virtual operator, corporate self-service accounts, analytics, and iGo, a demand network feeding incremental work in from aggregators including Uber, Gett, Addison Lee, First Rail and Arriva. Uber acquired Autocab in 2020; per Uber's own announcement it continues to operate independently with its own board.

What to know before you rely on it

The analytics workspace needs the Growth plan, where it is listed as advanced analytics. Margin is only ever shown against a recorded cost or a labelled estimate, and a view with mixed currencies sums nothing.
